Hey there veggie eaters,
A little kohlrabi late curtain call today – hopefully you won’t find it woody – it has been in the ground a while. Lots of peppers today! Looks like September is going to be pepper month as per usual in this area. All the peppers for the CSA are sweet peppers, so no worries about biting into a hot one. And you’ve got a head of lettuce or two and a bunch of chard to round out the green side of the rainbow today. Yes indeed the vegetables tell us summer is still here even though it’s raining a bit. I’m off to Philly tonight for a wedding so the rain comes at a perfect time: less worrying about irrigation while I’m gone. Have a great holiday weekend. cheers, Matt.
