Predictions for the first spring shares

Next week is the start of our spring harvest season! My best prediction is that there’ll be leeks, a bit of raab, scorzonera and maybe small bunches of other greens and herbs.

We had a productive spring break and got lots of plants and seeds in the ground, including the potatoes! We also covered most things to try to help speed them up a bit. The first shares will all be from overwintered crops but with a little more light and warmth we should have some spring planted greens and roots soon.

If you signed up fair a share on the A schedule you should have gotten two emails today with details for next week’s pick up. If you’re on the B schedule you’ll get one next week (I fixed the error which required an unintended second today). We’re looking forward to seeing our CSA members back from spring break in the next couple of weeks!
