Popping corn

Here’s a video and an explanation I posted a few years ago on our instagram of how I take our popcorn from ear to eating. Since we just gave out popcorn, and have a few more ears to sell on the farm stand, I figured it was a good time to repost. In the time since I made this video I’ve started using another one of Anthony’s suggestions and instead of the pot lid I use a mesh strainer (he actually says to use a frying pan splatter guard, but I have a big mesh strainer that does the same thing). That lets steam escape, and more importantly it lets you see the kernels popping, which is a lot of fun.
