The Cully Community Market got under way last weekend at the new location on the NE corner of 42nd and Killingsworth. The location is great, the new vendors offer increased variety, and the vibes were neighborhoody and friendly. There are three or four urban farmers, an amazing plant start vendor, kettle corn, amazing baked goods (including gluten-free), free community tables for neighborhood vendors (first come, first serve), tamales and more. The community vibe was real and we had a great time meeting all of our neighbors and fellow vendors. Some familiar faces were back from last year and we’re excited for the second week’s market happening tomorrow (Sunday June 12th). So come out and support us and all the other vendors and bring your friends!
