Fall Share 3A

Chard, arugula, cipolla onions, carrots, sweet pepper, radicchio and celeriac. We’re definitely not in the summer season anymore. I suspect there may be even a few more changes to next week’s share based on what the chard, arugula and daikon looked like in the field today but it’s hard to say. Radicchio is just getting started and we had a mix of red chioggia, Verona and Lusia types today. We left some greens on the celeriac roots and you can use those just like celery for flavoring dishes. Like all roots they will store better if the roots and tops are separated.

We had really nice weather for today’s harvest. There was even a little time in the afternoon to harvest the last of the dry beans before this atmospheric river shows up.
