Foggy morning today for harvesting the greens, and it burned off in the afternoon for harvesting the tomatoes and peppers. We were a little short handed so it was pretty much just harvesting and packing shares, and a little time do some cultivation at the end of the day.
Here’s what I think will be in the third shares: escarole, arugula, chard, leeks, beets, a few more salad turnips. We’ll probably still have a few salad tomatoes and sweet peppers. On the farm stand I expect we’ll have a bit of fennel and the last of the winter squash.
