Summer Squash Varieties

We’ve started harvesting and putting summer squash in the shares and three of the four varieties will be on rotation (I hope) for quite a while going forward. From left to right are: Genovese, Mutabile, and Odessa. We only harvest twice a week so we get a range of sizes, but they’re all good at all sizes. Odessa is new for us this year so let us know what you think. Genovese is a bit nuttier than the Mutabile, and they’re both great zucchini. The fourth variety is Patisson, which is a gold patty pan type and it ripens later in the summer so it’ll be a few more weeks for that one to show up.
