Hello Friends–
I apologize if this is redundant for you. We wanted to write a quick note to let you know that we will no longer be doing the Cully Community Market. Our CSA is going great but unfortunately, we don’t have enough surplus nor the time and energy to warrant doing a market on the weekend. We have decided the most efficient use of our time and our surplus is to market to restaurants. We are starting a once weekly delivery to restaurants in the beginning of the week. For those of you that saw us at the Cully Market, thanks so much for supporting us and the market. It is a great community effort, with amazing people and locally produced food and products, as well as such a friendly vibe.
If you haven’t been yet this year or at all, the vendors that were added are great. They just received a couple new grants to do SNAP matching program and some other cool things, so head out and support them on the NE corner of NE 42nd and Killingsworth, Sundays from 10-2. And since it is such a great community market and an outlet for a truly local economy, it is also an opportunity for you to sell your produce and your locally produced food and products there yourself. Just drop them a line at info@cullycommunitymarket.org for more information.
Peace,
Michael and Matt
